how to take control after death?

i see its a new feature in this update and i can see it on my troops when i fall in battle. I cant find any keybind or button that activates it and i cant get my cursor on screen during spectating to click it so how do i do it?

for me on PC i just simply left click or right click to swap between all the troops until i see the option to take control of a troop and for me it is just E .. it will be lower middle of your screen.

That being said, it seems not all of your troops you can take control of.. at times when i have fallen during a siege it has taken me a good many left clicks or right clicks to see the option pop up lol

Had no idea this is is even an option now. Before this was only available with RTS mode. Is this a part of the base game now?
