equip best item

trying to install either of the equip best item mods from nexus. game crashes when starting. what am i doing wrong. got the unzipped file in the mod folder.

Did you follow installation instructions, and do you have all dependencies?

Does the version of the mod you are attempting to use work with the game version you are using?

so you are saying all three mods i downloaded off of nexus are not updated, yet all the mods i use off of steam work fine. in all three cases i am using the latest version.

You didn't really give any information in your post, so I'm starting with the equivalent of "is it plugged in?" question.

Nexus mods do not auto update. You'll need to check the version on the nexus to make sure it is compatible with the game version you are running. The 'latest' version on the nexus does not necessarily mean the most recent game version.

it literally said updated version. could all three be outdated? is anyone successfully using any of those mods? did i miss something, i unzipped if necessary and up it in the mod folder
