What happened to updates?
I think this game hasn't reached anywhere near it's potential. Do the devs plan on adding new content? It's almost be two years soon. I can hope for something large they've been working on, but seems unlikely. Anyone know what's up?

Nobody really knows there's just speculation and conspiracy theories because TW hasn't told us anything. I honestly feel like they don't care at all about their customers with the complete lack of transparency and communication. But what can you do? I learned you can lock your game version to prevent it from updating then you can grab mobs off Nexus (don't use the workshop). At least you won't have to lose all your mods cuz of some tiny pointless micro patch. That's all we can do at this point

The devs are still here quietly working on the next big update. ETA unknown. Its actually only been 2.5 months since the last patch.

What happens is that they are pretending to keep working on the game so they can keep selling it for as long as possible.
Taleworlds has always been silent when working on updates/DLC

Napoleonic wars came out of nowhere for example

Care to elaborate on game potential? is it like a power level and what would you measure it in?
I also would like to see more news from TW, but no news is at least no bad news.
here is some text:
"write 100 word essay on bannerlord reaching a game potential of 8/10"
"Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord" earns an 8/10 for its impressive sandbox gameplay, realistic medieval combat, and dynamic world-building. The game excels in player freedom, allowing diverse playstyles, from trading to conquering. Its modding community adds significant value, extending replayability. However, it falls short in areas like diplomacy, AI depth, and late-game content, which feel underdeveloped. While the core experience is engaging, occasional bugs and repetitive quests hinder its potential. With continued updates and improvements, Bannerlord could reach a higher score, but for now, it stands as a strong, albeit imperfect, medieval simulation that delivers a compelling experience.
