Still no duelling/provoking Lords!
Seriously. Why do we still have no option to duel enemy lords or insult them to provoke hostile actions?

I don't want to start a war unprovoked or raid innocent villagers/caravans, just so they start a war. I want to direct my focus on the lords themselves, and without attacking them out of nowhere!
It was possible in warbands after all....

Been a while since I've played vanilla, but isn't there an option under there's something you'd like to discuss, and you can antagonize them into war. You're even given multiple prompts to confirm before the hostilities kick off.

not sure it would fit all realms though...

a duel.. perhaps... as a legalised way to off them without getting negative reputation.

but as a way to ceize realms??
every realm should have it's own inheritance of the crown rules..

and only for some would such a takeover by duel fit..

No, not a take-over by duel, but rather reducing reputation with them when challenging them. If they're the faction leader, they might start a war against your faction at one point, and if they're just a lord, they can suggest a war to their leader.

that's what I mean with unprovoked.
If you go over to them and just go "I deliver my demands! Surrender or die!", which was also one of the warband features, would just make a out of nowhere, Ifeel like this would cause the negative calculating trait "Hotheaded" or negative honor trait "devious". Which is something I want to avoid.

If you're that particular about it, get a mod that meets your (very specific) need.

I think there's an option in the Detailed Character Creation mod that lets you toggle war and peace between your clan and any other clan. If that clan is part of a faction, you're at war with the faction. You can even toggle back to peace when you're done with your little play date.

So? Warband also had feasts and those stupid-ass poems, and we don't need those either.

Bannerlord is far from being Warband. It's better in some cases and worst in others.
Besides, it's abandonware now.

Yea, I know, that what annoys me so much about it.
Bannerlord was kind of a "better looking" Warband, with a better engine and potential.
They added stuff nobody needed, removed stuff that were actually good, and that's it.

I just don't understand why they removed THIS feature, while adding personality traits. Makes just no sense to me.

To the best of my recollection there were two options to duel another lord.
As a female char if you choose to insult someone and as part of the marrige game. I dont really see what that has to do with what your initial post indicate that you want nor how it was "removed".

You want an option to duel lords so you can get a bit of influence at the cost of relationship?

Kind of yes. I'd see it as a potential honor/daring increase, rather than influence.

And in the end, lower relationships increase the chance of a faction starting a war.
