HELP! cant control my armies because of F keys

im playing bannerlord on a new dell laptop and my issue is when im in battle and press the f1 through f9 keys, they turn down the computer volume, change the brightness, etc. i was wondering if there was a way i could make my fkeys need to have shift held for them to perform their functions so i can use the keys in game to command my army.

It looks like your CTRL key is activated; probably a driver issue. De-install the keyboard in the settings of the laptop, reboot it and wait until the missing drivers are installed again, automatically. This should help.

On a laptop, you have to press and hold the 'fn' key (lower left, usually between ctrl key and windows key), then press the appropriate function key.

No. On my laptop CTRL is for the 2nd function in the F-keys ( speaker, light etc. ) and the fn has no determined function at all ;-) This might be different to German, American, Italian ....etc. keyboards. I assume something killed parts of the driver, that´s why I suggested to install in from scratch.
