Overal the best units / army?

Topic: which faction has the strongest / best roster of u combine all units from 1 faction only?

Sturgia and battania have somewhat major gaps in their roster. The other 4 cultures have pretty good all round rosters.

And what if you had to pick one, allot of people choose Vlandia, but i find their infantry lackluster.

i dont see a big difference between empire and vlandia. both are very good.

empire have bow-unit, but vlandia have bill unit with throwing weapons at max tier.

The Empire has access to pretty much every unit type, and their elite/noble units are pretty good. Maybe not the best at anything, but their units are definitely in the tops.

Their main downside is it takes longer to upgrade them. Their noble units require two horses if you pick them up at starting tier.

Empire is most well rounded probably. Their cataphracts are very good and their legionnaries are (imo) the best shield infantry unit in the game. The shock infantry is also decent.

Their archers can't compete with fians, but are on par with the archers of the other factions.

They also have a horse archer, but they're very late in the unit tree - you have to train them up as foot archer all the way until they finally get their horse at the last level up.

The weird thing is i always see the western but especially the southern empire getting beaten by the Aserai.

I think the Aserai are overal better because they deploy more horses and their archers are better.

I think the Aserai are overal better because they deploy more horses and their archers are better.

Don't know if they're better. Aserai have one of the best strategic locations. Their core cities never get raided or conquered and they can afford loads of elite units. Empire factions are in constant wars and get their villages burnt down and cities conquered back and forth from all sides.

Ye that's true, but i did like 10 battle test with the same setup for Aserai and Empire, 5 attacks 5 defends on the same map and the Aserai won 7/10 times.

If you are asking who has the best well rounded roster, than that would 100% have to go to the Empire. They have pretty much everything and while they aren't really the best of the best, they are still good in their respective roles.

While normally factions would excel at one thing and lack in others, they don't really excel in anything but don't lack in anything either.

For any battle that does not involve the player it doesnt matter. Only the type of unit and level does.

Not that i want the Aserai to win per se but why is no one mentioning the Aserai? They also have a super wel rounded roster and their archers and horses are superior to The empire imo.
