You could end up spend an awful lot of time smithing before you even learn the recipe parts needed to make that cash though.

nope thats economy im paying 100k for armor and thousand per war horse ,not going to spent decade doing quests, tournaments and trade like slave to advance in game, if you do some heck kingdom snowball all calradia and probably going to bang your kingdom ...at least thats what happend in my gameplay

trading is grindy but sitting in one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ town waiting for stamina and spamming a button is soooo muuuuch fuuuuuuuun.....

sounds like a sever case of git gud, you can make money without exploiting javelins if you now what you are doing and where you are going, you don't need to "trade" like a slave, you can trade like a smart merc, going from region to region...

yes you need to trade like slave on my first save it took me 4.5 ingame years to unlock everything has a price and make a decent money

its not only javelin...

there are many other weapons worth over 100.000 gold and only need 3-5 iron like 2h-weapons 2h-axes 2h-polearms.

mostly max-dmg is important, but for exa. a glaive is worth nothing and make crazy dmg.

i know just smelt items when you drop down looters when you can craft javelin with tree branch take over calradia

Well you need to "find" the tree branch.... piece. In my current run on 1.5.9. I discovered almost all parts for 2h sword. Not a single piece for javelins. And my clan at level 5. so.. good luck with yoru instant cash. -)

This is a hard reality im affraid , i guess some ppl got lucky with it , I was like you it took forever to finally unlock any shaft much less the tree branch.

Neither one os those options are fun , but atleast one doesnt take much time and actually makes you money.

get your brother to have arrange marriage, take her wife into your party, take her stuff, smelt her high tier weapon, send her to glorious death, arrange another marriage for your brother rinse and repeat...this save you lots of clicking...as for the money for the arrange marriage, just sell or give his ex-wife armor

Honestly just use the cheat to unlock all the smithing parts. Grinding to unlock the handful of decent parts you'll actually want to use is a gigantic pain in the ass.

The last character I tried it with was on the verge of dying of old age, had somewhere in the neighborhood of 280 smithing and had still only unlocked one or two ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sword blades. I had plenty of dagger hilts and throwing knife parts and other useless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but none of the parts I needed to make myself a decent 1h sword.

Well i find a good javelin grind where i just use like three stuff and unlock alot. so i use that to be able to grind all of the stuff

Once you get the harpoon head and ANY of the shafts you're in the clear. Even if you never sell a single javelin, that will help you level your younger siblings who seem to have gotten the short straw on early development, and can take you from level 5 to 30 in no time at all. Plus you get to make yourself some legendary weapons.
