will never happen, not possible without cutting down on what the game offers in terms of map gameplay

there is a total conversion mod. i found it a few days ago and it seemes to work fine.
It's totally possible to implement fully cooperative campaign for the developers. That's why they are called developers. It's even possible to implement it by fans as mod, though it would take hell lot of time, knowledge, and effort. M&B campaign designed in a way that gameplay-wise WOULD allow just another player, just another clan, just another custom kingdom etc. People who say it wouldn't be possible just lack imagination and knowledge how MUCH potential a commercial company has. And programming. Fans made multiplayer for GTA San Andreas and freaking Morrowind RPG from 2002, do you think it really wouldn't work for Bannerlord?

I look forward to your co-op mod than. Let us all know when it's released.

Sry, but claims like this without any references this is more like a "I want it, and if I want it I'm sure others want it too!"

There's a mod called bannerlord online. it may suit you as it's more or less a mmo mod for the game. From the video I've seen kinda impressive but I honestly don't wanna know how many hours the mods have already burned for it.

But that's most likely as close as co-op for bannerlord as you will get. In another post like this there was a dev quote basicly saying they have worked on this topic because of the continuous community requests but scrapped it because the result wasn't fitting their standards.

I know where you're coming from and I can understand the request, still I'm afraid the announcement would cause a ton of excitement, with alot of imaginations how it will be, which the final product can't offer and therefore causes a lot of negative feedback.

I mean look at Medival Dynasty. They added co-op because of the continuous community requests. How ended it up? a rise in player count after the patch release while ending up with roughly the same amount of daily players as before, just like 3 months later.

Besides that, the time the devs would put into the co-op, they can't invest in improving other parts of the game. Ask around the active players and I'm sure next to everyone names you a hand full of mechanics they (also) want to see developed/improved by the devs.

Still he's somewhat right, I work in programming myself. "Possible" is a lot of stuff, but the more important point is "will the result justify the investment?". It's most likely not like the Studio is swimming in money so much that they don't even know how to spend it. Otherwise we would already have seen the DLC announcement much earlier, because they would have thrown more money on the development.

nobody gives a ♥♥♥♥ for world peace or for co-op in bannerlord.

if co-op would be that easy to do, why there are not :

1) billion other games like mount and blade
2) all of them with co-op

?!?

It shouldn't be too hard to allow this game to be played online like HoI, Eu4 or FM games or just with friends on the same map and compete. If necessary, starting the game from scratch as a raider, if necessary, starting the game as a lord and saving, or if the AI checks our account when we exit the game online, there are many other options, but I don't know if there is a producer who will read this.

Don't underestimate the difficulties to transform a game that was designed with SP in mind into MP. Just take Klei as example. There was a big wish for the community for Don't Starve in Multiplayer. They delivered this with Don't Starve Together, but decided to scrap the old code base and writing the complete game anew, because they decided that this would be the less painful approach.
Games like HoI or EU4 were designed with full MP compability in mind, so that's a whole different thing. Just to make a comparison: If you want to build a racing car it's way easier to do this from scratch in stead of trying to transform an existing family van into one.
every single game deserves a simple 2-player-"buddy"-coop mode.

I will die on this hill, fight me.
That's so interesting to see how the Bannerlord's "fan base" finds any excuse to say that co-op or multiplayer is impossible. With that attitude there really won't be any co-op from TW. Don't you have friends to play with at all?
