Siege Auto Resolve Glitch
Whenever I overwhelm the enemy in power during a siege, If my character is down the auto resolve automatically throws me in prison.

This first happened during an actual difficult siege but in the end we had won but a few retreated, i had full tier 4-5 troops to finish out the interior siege of the castle but I went down in the initial and it was only basic militia left and auto resolve threw me in prison and my 100+ strong remaining troops disappeared.

The first was questionable but I thought maybe it was a fluke and we sucked but this second siege, I was wounded during a siege defense from an equally strong army so could only auto resolve, another friendly army came in to help 700+ to 100 for a small castle and auto resolve skipped right into prison.

The second definitely indicates some glitch for skipping auto resolve and I want to know if anyone else feels like glitches have been ever increasing since actual launch. I haven't played much since after launch, but I don't remember the game feeling so unplayable especially without mods.

1) you say you didnt play much after launch

2) you say game feels unplayable without mods

i play without mods.

yesterday i won a siege defence with 300 guys (nearly all militia) against 1100 army.
it was auto resolve and my mainchar was lvl 7 with clan lvl 1

edit: auto resolve siege depends 90% of siege units like catapults and wall lvl 1,2,3.
if you have 2+ defence siege catapults, the enemy will get big problems.

I might have made it unclear but I play mostly without mods.

I know how auto resolve can go (unless its changed), I usually *if I can* destroy all siege defence and watch the scoreboard a little before hitting the full send for auto resolve, which usually goes great a lot of the time.

My main gripe is there are a lot of other things I am noticing which I don't think I mentioned but arenas crash the game constantly and now randomly through a session or starting the game I get a jarring screen flicker.

There's a lot of questionable things that kind of seem like typical Bannerlord jank but it's hard telling apart if they are caring less since after launch or what.

I got excited seeing the new dlc but now I'm feeling some disappointment towards one of my favorite games.

I'm just wondering if bugs have become more monumental since launch really.
Welp, once you say you even slightly play with mods, most people are just going to point to that and say that's your problem. :)

If I'm understanding your post, overall your forces are winning, but your character is wounded. The defenders retreat to the keep. Your forces still have the upper hand, but after auto resolving, the game declares you are defeated and imprisons you?

How many defenders are left and how many attackers? Defenders get a pretty hefty bonus, so what is an easy victory for the player is a rout for the AI.

I do know that there was a change around the 1.2 timeframe where if an AI army is sieging a fief I am defending, any attacking AI lords that are wounded are captured if the attacking army retreats. All of their soldiers are captured as well. Any AI lords that were not wounded are still present on the world map. The army still exists if the army leader escaped.

Perhaps this is a variant of what's happening to you. You were defeated, so you and your soldiers were captured.

Um... No actually. The game has been pretty glitch free without mods and even less so since EA. 100% chance your mods caused all your glitches. You will need to do a clean reinstall to fix it and not use mods going forward. Good luck.

When you say retreated, which side retreated?

As for your second encounter, even if an assist army shows up, it doesn't guarantee success. Was that allied army also defeated? Or just you put in prison?
A third time (I wasn't using mods) and the auto resolve was winning each encounter drastically but the skip auto resolve sent me straight to being captured.

I lost several hundred troops to 19 and 90-110 enemy troops that doesn't make sense, even with a low tactics character. Especially when the enemy has no siege defense or walls.

The fast forward auto resolve works as expected but the skip made me lose these wins.

And there's more bugs than I remember, besides this.

Hmm, it is still unclear what you mean.

There is no "skip autoresolve" you either get the option to lead the attack yourself, provided you have enough health, or to send troops (autoresolve).

The only other option is to leave. I have never tried that so it is possible that if you are wounded and use that the game consider it a surrender. Is that it?

There is a fast forward, retreat, and skip button for auto resolving in that order.

Crazy I know.
