Online Crossplay Campaign Working? (Bannerlord Online)

I'm on the edge of buying this game (PC) my mate has it on X-Box.

I am concerned that reading recent reviews that many mods are broken - is it possible to play a campaign with Bannerlord online crossplay still? It's the only reason I want to get it.

There is currently no co-op in the game. Per TW, it won't be coming from them. Some modders are working on it, but I don't think there's anything playable.

From what I understand, mods don't work on console, so I don't think you'll be able to play with your buddy cross platform.

Even of someone came up with a mod that allowed for the co-op some wanted, it would never be a option for cross play. Neither xboix or playstation wuld allow for such mods.

bannerlrod online is not a coop mod, its a persistant online world, its not even remotely the same as playing a singleplayer campaign with a friend.

and since bannerlrod online is a mod i dont know if console players can even download/play it.
