Mod to simplify perk tree?
It's the whole reason why I don't play the game anymore.

It's a massive burden to level up all those damnable perks and I wish I could just skip it. A way for me to automatically get the perks without me having to go in and clickety click until my hand goes numb.

I can't stand this perk tree, I wish we just had the system that warband had, so much better.

I wish TW would rework/overhaul the perk tree... as it stands right now, it really feels like a big convoluted mess.

It'd be nice if you could choose specialisations for your companions as well as family members and then level them accordingly rather than have everything baked in a single tree.

Governors, Captains & Party/Army leaders should have specific trees of their own or maybe talents should be more specific to those specialisations... also as a player, why do I even get Governor perks? Makes little sense as a player since you're never going to be staying in town long enough for those to really come into effect.

Unfortunately as far as mod goes, I haven't seen anything touching on that... probably because the perk tree is hardcoded into the game and modders can't really alter it in any meaningful way but one can definitely hope.

Oh man... :(

Didn't know it was hardcoded into the game, it's the worst part of the game imo lol.

I agree with your suggestions too but it would be nice if the trees were then more linear and each perk was automatically acquired everytime you reached a certain level in that skill and then only have a handful of manual choices to go here or there in the tree.

Long ago I was so hyped for this game but I feel disappointed by what it turned out to be. I thought it would be warband but better. Instead it feels hollow and empty :(

I don't know for sure that it is hardcoded but since nobody has come up with a mod that addresses this so far, I'm lead to believe that it might in fact be.

there seems to be a mod called "take both" or something like that.

you get both perks in every skill.
you can give this advantage every lord of every faction, only your clan, or whatever.

i dont know what game version you need.
i dont know if this mod works with the game option at start of a new game
"take automatic perks for every clan member".

It seems to be as close as mods come. Thanks.

I don't like that very much... you're already OP as ♥♥♥♥ without taking both, getting both perks just breaks the game further more and I'm not a big fan of that.

Yea, the perks in this game are very uninspired. I'd prefer less perks but meaningful choices.

The really fun part is selecting them all for my clan members and companions. I know I can let the AI auto assign, but there are some choices that are just better in some situations that I want that clan member for.

It's too bad we can't have a perk template like we do appearances. Then I could at least load that so companions are auto assigned perks.
