The last major update was in july 2023, so who knows. But I have a hunch that its gonna be sometime soon. Maybe they are talking about it on their website.

I swear like a month ago there was talk of the devs saying there was something coming soon?

if not i'm about ok to uninstall and never look back, the developer has really showcased themselves as a bad investment.

Like I at the very least expect communication of when and what.

The first we heard about this 1.3 update was in May of 2024. In December of 2024, another forum post was made by a community manager saying they were still working on it, and it's still coming. No info on what it will include or when it will be released.

An investment is something you expect to make money from. So no, a video game is not an investment. Its a product you exchange money for. They dont teach common sense where you are from, bro?

If you're buying a product, you should buy it for what it is, not for what it will be.

An investment is when I put money towards something because I will get a return on that investment - more money - later. Why would I give a company money in the hope they'll give me my money's worth later?

The only thing TaleWorld promised was to support it post release, of which they done. So idk what you put into "promise of something better" and what reference you have to that?
