GPU Crashes
Been playing this game since release without issues, just reinstalled it to have another go and keep on getting on startup along with a white screen:

ERROR

d3d_device_context_->Map at rglGPU_device::lock_texture Failed!
The GPU device instance has been suspended. Use GetDeviceRemovedReason to determine the appropriate action.

Never had this issue before, but I can see that it's fairly common. Is there any fix?

Hm yes and quick google search of that error also shows its been solved. Usually by a CLEAN -reinstall. Simply uninstalling the game doesnt remove all game files.

You can also find directions on how to do a proper clean uninstall over in the tech support section.

Yeah, it looks like only specific cases have been solved rather than the issue in general. Done a full reinstall a couple of times already as well as updated drivers, did nothing.
Does your PC have an onboard GPU (motherboard or integrated in the CPU) as well as your graphics card?

If so it might be trying to run the game on the onboard rather than the graphics card. On PC you can safely disable that GPU in device manager, it would force your system (as well as any games) to use your graphics card. Don't do this on a notebook though.

I got the same error message along with a white screen. Let me know if you happen to come across a fix.

OMG, i fixed it! I just had to delete the shaders folder in C:\Program Data\Bannerfail & then re verify. Hope this helps someone out there. Spread the goodness, enough bad in the world.
