Well no crashes since i bought the game but then again i play native with the odd mod.
The game is very stable without mods and that is exactly what TW wanted now its about adding content.
i mean lets talk when its finished. i suppose we can talk about opinions on its direction though.
I have been investigating crashes quite a bit and I am not 100% certain yet but something is pointing towards the use of F6 or Delegate Command.
I usually put my cavalry on AI controlled and I have gotten strange messages simultaniously as the game crashes regarding their behaviour.
Since I stopped using the F6 command I have not yet crashed in my battles, investigation ongoing.
Good luck tw
I did own the game once and refunded a year ago or more, couldn't justify the silly money for a half baked game thats to similar to its predecessor with graphical upgrades.
Wtf the game is cheap compared to the crap that's out there at $70-80.
Its well worth the price and once finished it will be a steal when modders really get started.
Considering the dross CA, Paradox etc churn out this is head and shoulders above the competition just like War-band was and if you figure in the price to hours played a real bargain.
Also... no. It's not unreasonable to expect that a AA game at AA prices should have 70% of its content delivered by modders rather than the devs.
Check out this reddit post from last year. It's a list of cut content in the MB code that the devs have expressed no plans of implementing whatsoever. Some of it is un-PC, which might explain some things. https://www.reddit.com/r/mountandblade/comments/fu54tu/cut_and_legacy_content_a_list_of_all_cut_content/
They apparently had been working in the past to make an immersive medieval RPG and then abandoned that for a barebones combat sim which is less sophisticated than Warband because Warband actually had formations that didn't *reduce* combat effectiveness.
Steam mod support isn't happening. TW is barely supporting the existing modding community on Nexus.
