I dont think so at all. When i seen that intro that just came out, that is clearly Paradox sucktastic that got me worried.
Anyway check the number of reviews on the store page, this game has sold extremely well, which means they got the funding to fix it.
Have to wait and see, early access is supposed to be so games can get funding and player feedback and everything.
I have... 16 mods installed and it still mostly sucks.
Since the last time you probably played, the devs have not fixed siege AI or spear performance.
Instead, they removed gang battles and nerfed workshops/caravans... plus made minor tweaks to dozens of little things you probably don't care about.
Im not to worried Elder Scrolls Vi and Dynsasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors 9 Empires will come out some day but i did have high hopes for M&B II.
If M&B II gets turned into a trash pile i will be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and complaining the entire time hahahaha
Yeah unfortunately the game already is a trash pile and the devs are talking like they're confused about why we would want the game to be anything more than it currently is but slightly tweaked.

Go on the TW forums sometime. It's a nonstop blackpill with intermittent fanbois posting letters to Santa telling TW not to give up hope and don't worry about the trolls and please please make a functional game some day. And the devs are like... lol nope.
There isn't even solid enough modding support to allow modders to fix the game themselves. Giant sections of the codebase are gangrenous bug-hives and modders are locked out.
Modders literally just signed a letter of protest and basically promised to give up if TW didn't get its act together. TW promised to have meetings about it and get back to us. That was 2 months ago.

Cause When I try to use them I get crashes.
** I bought this with the understanding that I was supporting a worthwhile company that would continue to improve its product. Turns out they just want your money and it's going to go straight into their marketing team rather than better programming. The ads will tell you their next game will be better, it will be awesome, it will be the best game of all games; then guess what?
This is an important point for gaming companies, and unfortunate trend. Who is actually responsible for this mass fraud and theft is fairly vital as just blaming a company in entirety is inaccurate and wasteful.
You might want to look deeper into that issue rather than leaving the reasoning just to this game.
If you are getting BSOD's you have some instability somewhere else.
*That may have been fairly scathing but having slept on it before returning to the issue and investigating it's release and subsequent problems I've noticed a serious discrepancy between user expectations/programmer intent and the actual product offered consumers by overeager corporate marketing. Giving programmers time to do their jobs (and an appropriate salary/materials!) is vital to maintaining the trust of consumers; the present trend is trashing the gaming industry, which matters little to entities who buy and sell gaming companies without concern for the product or consumers. Nothing to do for it but to say nothing is to remain complicit. I did give the game a positive review and hope for its future success.
Please stop giving positive reviews to broken games. I understand the sentiment, but you're making the problem worse and not better.
The devs have proven time and time again that they won't listen to any of us unless there's a pitchfork mob raving outside their gates. Positive reviews just insulate them from the need to fix the fundamental problems with their dev cycle, which is the root of why the game is busted and why it will never be fixed without addressing it.
Got news for you the game has been in development for well over 6 years or more , Considering they had a vision and a successful system in place i find it shocking that it is where it is.
I heard one of the main problems is the small team and the Devs reluctance to invest in their own company as such , This is not surprising im sure someone is skimming the cream off the top.
An aspect of Bannerlord's EA that may be confusing detractors is that the game released into EA with most features already implemented in the game, just in a WIP or hollow state. The majority of EA development so far has gone into filling out, finishing, balancing, and polishing the existing features rather than developing new features. The perk system, companions, the birth/death system, the campaign, and the battle scenes were all just hollow shells at release. They have all received concerted efforts to fill them out, and while they are not nearly complete, they are greatly improved.
Outside of the new terrain system, I really don't think you are going to see completely new features added between now and release. I'm not ruling it out, but again, the features already in the game are what need the continued focus.
Overall, Bannerlord is a great game, even in EA. It will continue to get better, it will get finished and released, and it will receive continued development and expansion after release.
Good thing they spent so much time in Dev on MP.
** so weirdly, on start up the game will stop every few seconds, as though lagging; this is before loading a game. Then my save acts as though it's lagging online really badly, encounters an error and crashes. If I load an earlier game, it functions fine, and upon restart acts normal. If I load the broken save, quit and restart it still goes super slow even before I reload the the save file. I have not added any mods or altered files in any way. Thoughts?
