Let us know how it goes.
remember go/click to speak the governor in the keep FIRST
But you USED to be able to leave kingdom and take your fiefs... making your old kingdom and all the lords hate you.
It doesn't seem to work anymore. and Yeah "I hit search". I'm not going back and reading 8 patch notes.
Fortunately eventually my King died, and I inherited it.. but still it seems odd The button is grayed out.
~cheers.
You need to talk to the faction leader (king, whatever).
Yep, that;s how it used to be.
I was Battania, In a war, had 4 fiefs, clan tier 5, Had governors in all of them, no option under governors dialogue, couldn't talk to an ally lord about leaving, couldn't talk to caladog about leaving. Caladog was in an army at the time. (I tried leaving, spent a half hour in game trying, then went to forums and searched for ten minutes, found NOTHING about leaving kingdom, but did find multiple posts about creating kingdom).
No options anywhere. I was JUST about to finish the banner Quest, then caladog died, so I didn't have to worry about it. Then again, not sure if the Banner quest is working, haven't done it in a long time.
Anyway, yep... Used to be u could talk to king and say you wanna leave. then Decide to give back fiefs or not.
Wasn't there in dialogue this time, AND no matter what I did the "Leave kingdom " button was always grayed out.
No one has posted about this in awhile that I saw, so I'm thinking maybe it isn't possible anymore. I dunno.
~cheers
Well it's still in 1.7.0, I did it just the other day.
my friend is playing sturgia, he has the same issue. I wonder if it's because the kings are in armies.
Edit; I should have updated this awhile ago. I didn't think people would search (like they should lol) and find it.
Anyway, The issue I had was I was in an army (as was my friend).. I tend to ALWAYS be in an army once my economy is going. The army was my MC and my scrub party, and my brother and his party.. so BOTH parties were "mine" I didn't think this would matter. it did.
Summary: if you are NOT in an army, you should be able to leave. I tested it a couple times after, and it certainly worked for me.
~cheers
I got same issue
Under the kingdom tab on the top the button is red "leave kingdom", click on it and the game asks you to keep the fiefs or give them back. You keep it but the kingdom will declare war. You then can speak to your gouvernor.
Asking the king for permission to leave however gave him all fiefs back and you're trapped again grinding looters.
At least for me it didn't mater if the king is in an army or if there is war.
Maybe the button is grayed out because you started the campaign before 1.7?
i think it was a bug, or a brain fart on my part. either way make sure you are NOT in an army. Even if it is an army of just you and your companion party.... if you are in an army, you can not leave kingdom. It thinks you will "scam" and take some lords with you.
But yeah, me and buddy both were in armies (of just us, and our Companion's parties) as soon as we left, we could leave kingdom.
Hope this helps.
After i set a governer to that castle, need to talk with my men who is governer that place...
Ok its works
