My troops are children?
My troops are all kids, they have the right equipment and the weapons are the standard size, but they are small and their armor is also small, they are like 2 feet tall if that. I'm not gonna lie, its pretty funny. So I am on the Beta branch and have the Banner Peasants, Noble Troops, and More Looters mods, I used these mods before on other versions so I don't think its them. Does anyone know why this is and how I may fix it?

If the game updates sometimes mods used in previous versions will conflict with the changes of the new version. This may happen a lot since the game is early access. I personally would not use mods till the game is finished and modders have a set code to work with.:warband:

get rid of all mods and clean reinstall (get also rid of everything that remains in your steamapps after uninstalling). this solved the issue for me

As per nexus, banner peasants and noble nobles will not work for 1.58 as they set no minimum age

I remember a few versions ago I was able to recruit my infant brother and sister who were staying in a nearby castle, plonk em on horses and they joined the battles, nay worries. Can't seem to do the same on the latest version which made me sad.

This caused by the vanilla game some time ago. The bug is patched but the issue persisted in some mods and in some save games.
AFAIK the only way to fix it is to start a new game after getting the TW patch.
Locally, for some savegames etc, I think you can use this[www.nexusmods.com] to fix your roster.

Turned out it was the Banner Peasants mod, I disabled that and im so far 300 days in a new campaign with my other mods enabled and no issues.

Here's a FIX that doesn't require uninstall for most troop mods using CustomTroops.xml format. I figured this out by comparing working and outdated troop mods:

Baby Troop FIX:
Go To: CustomTroops.xml with a text editor.

Find and Replace :
<face_key_template value="NPCCharacter.
with
<face_key_template value="BodyProperty.

save and exit.
i don't get what would have to replace exactly?

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
