Help with Crash
Hi,
So I'm trying to start a new game with mods (1.8) and am getting a crash when I load a game. Runs fine on creation and first playing.

I have "BetterExceptionWindow" and it's reporting this error:

Don't use mods on unstable beta version of the game, that's my advice. I bet one of those mods is not compatible.

I have the same crash issue, and have absolutely no mods at all running. Straight vanilla.

As long as the mods are up to date, it's fine. I've been running mods the whole time on 1.8, but there's not many that are compatible right now.

First, I'd say start with no external mods enabled, and then go down the list enabling them one by one until you get one that crashes.

The stack trace makes me think that your problem is the CCsBanners mod though.

CCsBanners was one of the mods that had an update recently, I bet it is the culprit. I'll give it a go without it and see,,, Thanks for pointing it out!

I've looked through the mod list and all of those SHOULD be compatible with 1.8, but it's possible one of them is just having some kind of issue with the game for some reason.

I'd suggest doing what Zero suggested, turn then all off and then launch with them on, 1 by 1.

I thought the same thing, I just typed it wasnt compatible but then I just checked and saw it got updated so I deleted my comment lol.

How do you know? The only way to know what is causing the crash is by using mods. Without mods you don't get that detailed crash report.
