Is there no mod that improves the dragon banner

There are plenty of better armors in the game, and there are plenty of better banners, too.

You just have to find them.

The cool kids know this, and they ignore this quest. You do not need it to create your own kingdom.

There is tons of banners in the game that better than the dragon banner one, so why the need to improve it? Just find another that is more suitble for your needs.

You're right -- That Dragon Banner sucks. If I recall, correctly, it gives a 5 percent enhancement to some kind of damage.

5 percent banners are a dime a dozen. Current playthrough, I have 5, and I'm not even clan level 3.

10 percent banners are less common, but about a quarter or so of the banners you find will be 10 percent enhancements.

And once in a while you snag a great one, like Horse Bane, + 25 percent damage to mounted troops.

That crappy Dragon Banner pales in comparison.

So there is no need to open up your game to the risk of a mods. Just keep on kicking ass and taking names, and the better banners will come.

Ya but the dragon banner is like some legendary thing that's part of a quest and is supposed to be super awesome and doesn't really equate to your example of "leather armor". I get that there are better things out there but none of them have lore behind them. Now if I did a quest and they said "this is leather is made from the world serpent himself and is totally impenetrable" and then it was worse than regular leather armor then yes I'd probably be here saying the same thing.

Also loled at "open up your game to the risk of a mods". Mods make the game better. The cool kids know this, and know how to do it without destabilizing their game.

It would be cool if the banner gave all the buffs that other banners give, plus causing more morale damage, an increase in party size, and making it easier to recruit troops.

Don't necessarily want it to be super OP, just seems like the 1 banner in the game that's super important and has all this cultural and political significance behind it should do...something interesting.

The bonus level is anemic for how legendary an item it is supposed to be, but it is just fine for how ridiculously easy it is to get.

it should be op or do nothing imo. should at least affect morale and recruiting troops

The Dragon Banner basically gives all the other kingdoms the middle finger. While your hero sticks his tongue out and raspberries the air in their direction.

Whomever holds this banner has the right to rule all the kingdoms. They now only have to convince them of this fact.

Get the banner then paint the whole map, let me know how it goes. On normal, with no mods.

No, We had one back in day but Taleworld stole his content to put into a trailer and then pretended it was theirs so author got rightly angry and pulled 50+ Mods from Nexus including Dragon Banner one.

Majority of community ignore Dragonbanner quest running a Kingdom is anti fun your vassals are too dumb to perform basic actions they cheat under A.I Ruler but under you? If you don't baby sit them they will die and lose all your fiefs.

Oh my really? Developers stealing mods from modders without even crediting them and putting it in their game when the mods themselves are more advanced than anything the lazy developers could ever make themselves from scratch?
