buying 2 handed weaopns

Anyone know where I can buy a good 2 handed weapon (namely an axe). I can't find any good ones in the 1.1.0 beta

If you become a vassal of Sturgia you get Avalanche, quite possibly one of the best two handed axes in the entire game. You can then just leave the faction straight afterwards. You'll get some nice troops out of it, too!

also, how fast can you become a vassal?

1. while avalanche is fine, you can just win tournament with black heart as a prize.

2. but if not, simple sparth axe shoul be avialable in any empire town during first week. really good for its speed.

3. after first month, bearded axe should be avialable too. also in any empireal town.

Unless they got nerfed, its a oneshot longstick.

aha or just git gud in very simple combat. there is nothing to farm. saw wanted prize, went in - won, period.

Im talking for the % of the weapon showing up

I dont need to git gud in this game

black heart appear chance is plenty enough to not farm anything.

For what I saw, higher clan tier = better items to buy in cities, thats why it's hard to find two handed weapon at shop when you start. When you get marry your wife/husband have tier 6 gear, you can take it from them. When you become vassal a faction leader give you a gift, Battanian guy give me tier 6 two handed sword. Meaby Sturgian King give you two handed axe.

You can be vassal when you have tier 2 clan. When you tier 1 you can be mercenary for some faction. When you leave faction as vassal you have to give back your castles and cities, if you keep them then you wil have war with that faction.

If memory is correct I purchased this one in Sturgia. It replaced the Black Heart. This one had better stats or length, cannot remember. This is 1.1 beta

Personally, I'm a sword+board & bow guy. I have tried the bearded ax (which I just realized is a one-handed weapon, not a two-handed, so whoever commented on that one . . .) in a Bannerlord difficulty combat against an Bandit Chief and my fighting style (kiting and back swipes to their non-shield side) just did not work. Probably not enough length (I think the ax length is about 68 and most swords I am effective with while I'm in the ~110 Athletics ballpark are in the 105 length ballpark).

I would assume that there are two possible fighting styles with a two-hander, well three if you count extraordinarily fast players:
1. High Athletic kite and swipe, not unlike the style I've used to win scores of tournaments
2. Tank (high HP high armor)
3. Jacky Chan (actually use the weapon to block and coordinate that with movement and attacks).

Be a female character (the easiest choice by far).
Marry one of the uber Sturgian males. (Simir, lek etc) and they come with it. So u get one, as soon as u can afford to marry them,

wrong. bearded axe is two-handed dane axe at price of 8k denars. (absurd price for such axe, but thats how it is)

I do not take any equipment from spouses, to easy, just my play style/choice. Plus it saves me denars of having to re-equip them.
