Can i be attacked?

i was vassal of western empire,Garrios died and new guy made bad decisions,we were at war with 5 kingdoms at once. I got annoyed and left kingdom,choosing to keep my two fiefs...

now i made peace with the western empire rite away.

im tier clan 4(one before i can form empire) and at war with no clans or factions..

so can or will any one declare war on me? also ,what can i do from here? should i just go back to western empire(little regret about leaving)

If you are an independent clan, i.e., not affiliated with any kingdom, they will not attack you unless you take an aggressive action against them first.

Take advantage of the peace to build your bankroll and develop your holdings. Maybe even expand. No reason to hurry.

So should i just empty the garrisons to free up food and money,and go fight bandits/quests till im tier 5? seems a little cheesy. i think they should change this. i think breaking vassalage should mark you as an enemy to that faction permenantly and if they catch you they execute you

You could do exactly that. If you don't think you should be able to enjoy a period of peaceful coexistence with your neighbors, why did you negotiate peace with them in the first place.

If you want war, declare a kingdom. I believe you can do it at level 4, unless this last update changed that.

yeah i saw that next tier it says eligable to create kingdom. quite a way to go too.
i made peace because i would have lost my fiefs,they were rie in the heart of western empire.i cant even be a merc anymore cuz i own fiefs,nor can i give up the fiefs. Hence my regret in leaving.
