Weapons shrinking ??
Um...

I'm pretty sure the two hand sword I just forged was 115 in length. Why is it 107 now? Is this a known issue? Thamaskene isn't exactly easy to come by..

If it was a weapon you forged yourself, it's bugged right now, it seems that this bug reset the weapon parts size to the standart value and also reset the bonus stats (like the "Legendary" one for example) after reloading a save

TW just bugged out things, yet again, but now the game causes... shrinkage?

Shrinkage?

Oh, that's great. That's hilarious... All the Big Anime Sword Blacksmithers just gained... shrinkage. It's just so darn Freudian. :)

Thank you for the LoL of the Day, TW!

But at least they patched the crashing issue i had when doing some fight before the update, or at least, it seems like it's patched, i had no crash since the update

Yeah, it is an annoying bug, my Sword made for my Cavalvry Man are now "smol sord" which make mounted combat a little bit harder (not much but you really feel those 20 point in length that disapeared, now my "long sowrd" is a "not so long sword")

I mean, it * is * funny in a twisted kind of way.

* loooong sigh *

From my perspective though where I grinded the 5h!t out of smithing for countless actual days just to get my beautiful two-hander reverse-animed really sucks. Big time.

Well, it was a bit oversized and slow, it was using almost all part that gave me the most reach possible (and was an Ugly sword if i take my own aesthetic taste), so, it's still good in length, but shorter

I guess if you find some satisafaction in this then I'm happy for you. I honestly would laugh at this bug if the memory of all the grind I had to go through wasn't so fresh in my memory..

I would reproduce the glitch just to report the bug but I don't know how to do it nd I'd rather just keep my thamaskene steel this time around...

Well, if the bug is corrected, i would be able to use a sword that is better looking with at least the same size of the bugged weapon, but since it will also get bugged it's not satisfying to craft weapons, i'm and probably many other people are locked with either "good looking short sword" and "ugly long sword" when we could have "good looking longsword" and "ugly extrem long sword"
Seggellion Mar 30, 2023 @ 3:03pm
So the previous weapon bug caused your crafted weapon's weight to continually grow in size until it weighed more than a full set of armor and it was too heavy to wield. Now they decided to fix the over growth bug by shrinking your weapon to "average" size. That's funny and sad at the same time.

Ten hours later... I'm still giggling.

Wasn't there an old bug similar to this ages ago? Where the stats of the crafted item would reset on every reload or something like that.

As others have observed it's not the length of the sword that is always important, it is how you swing it.

Age of shrinkage. You'd better check your penis size as well :D
