Troubleshooting help please, workshop mods on steam deck (solved)
I havent played M&B in a long time. Decided to install it on my deck. No new mods from when I played last. I feel like I have a pretty light mod list. They're all as up to date as they can be rn, i think.

Anyways, everything boots up find. Main menu works fine. When i click new campaign it freezes on the loading screen and music stops, i have to close the game via the steam menu.

Mod list:
Harmony
Butter
Mod options
Uiextender
Diplomacy
Mini map
Enable achievements
Character manager
Xorberax's legacy
Better time
Detail Character create
Distinguished server
Improved garrisons
Dismemberment
Govs handle issues
Realistic weather
Relentless smith

Edit: this mod list works on the currently version of the game and loads just fine and allows me to start a new game on my desktop. These problem I'm having is only on steamdeck.

Edit 2: RTS camera mod is the problem. While it works on my desktop, it does not work on the steam deck. Unsure why.

You have quite a few mods running, so it is possible that one or more is causing a conflict or is out of date.

I would suggest disabling all of them and see if the game runs then, if it does then enable one or two at a time to find out which is causing the issue.

If the issue persists without mods then you might need to verify your files.
Bannerlord has probably had an update since you last played and therefore your mods will all be broken. You will have to also update your mods.

Fair point. But they're all as up to date as they can be according to steam workshop.

Whelp guess I'm not playing bannerlord still. I refuse to play without the above mods because they really round out the game.

Then it means some of your mods are not up to date. You could always use an older version of the game, one where all your mods worked. Or pester the mod creators to update their mods.

I don't recommend using the steam workshop if you can avoid it. Steam only allows one mod version at a time. If the author updates (or removes) it, you could be SoL.

Do you manually set your game version? If not, you're running on the currently version, and any time the game updates, your game may no longer be compatible with your mods.

Download mods manually from a site like the Nexus. Manually set your game version. That stops you from receiving any updates so you can keep your game/mod setup for as long as you want. I'm currently on game version 1.2.10. I was playing 1.0.3 until 1.2 came out. I skipped the 1.1's entirely.

I'm pretty sure those mods are also available on the nexus. Figure out what game version they all work for and use that game version.
