I have a few questions
I'm thinking about buying the game but unfortunately I haven't found anything clear on the web about the following

What is the PvP like in this game? I found out there are 4 modes...Siege Team Deathmatch Skirmish and Captain. Is there account progression? So is it possible to climb the rank and unlock new things? Actual equipment with stats or just skins?

The internet is full of clan matches, which I actually think is pretty cool. Are they still being played today? And if so, how active? I would also be interested in your opinion of the game.

Single player is the main focus in the game. But there is still a somewhat active multiplayer base. From the multiplayer I played there is some kind of progression. You play matches to unlock items and level up.

Is the game worth to get for its PvP Multiplayer aspect only?
Also i have seen a mod in wich you have Witchking Armor, can i use that on normal servers too?

I have over 2,500 hours in the game and didn't even think about PvP. There are other games built for PvP, this one isn't.

I think one major issue, is that if they did PvP, where you lead your army vs opponent's army, that would be more appealing to fans of PvE part of the game.

Instead it is a team of players vs team of players. Which is fine, but individual combat is not really what this game is all about.

I would rather have Total War style PvP (meaning my army vs opponent's army).

If you’re getting the game mainly for multiplayer I personally would pass, I recommend games like Chivalry 2 instead.

dont buy this game , its a buggy mess and theyre never going to fix it.

PVP battle plays the same as singleplayer battle except that its much worse , the timing sucks , the hit registry sucks . oh and its a tiny battle and you will get bored after a few sessions.

Singleplayer based game. Play sandbox, play campaign. A lot of mods for more immersion. Enjoyable game.

without mods its not fun , but be prepared for crashes and failure because even without mods it crashes endlessly... its a buggy mess and they abandoned it imo idc what anyone thinks because with the lack of content and updates this games basically abandoned and until I see otherwise I cant recommend this game and I pray you haven't bought it yet...

yup , totally agree , DONT BUY this game

I just tried playing so many versions of the game with or without mods ENDLESS crashes after doing the last swing on the last enemy "even IF I dont kill them" I use to have a PERFECT modset that worked then I made the mistake of updating the game and mods and lost the playset forever...

With a clean install and no mods the game is perfectly stable and fun. Dont listen to the haters, they are just butthurt that their mods break after every game update.

Rather, they want to flex how loyal they are to Steam for not redeeming a certain freebie on June 2024 on the Epic Games Store, while the people who genuinely care about Mount&Blade's PVP offerings instead have moved to the leading online medieval game.

Dude.... I got egs (and gog, EA, Xbox etc), I picked up just about any freebie they offered, because.. hey freebie. Your idea about people being loyal to steam is silly. Thing is, egs is BAD compared to Steam. But freebies is still freebies, and people get them if they want them.

I have no interest in play Bannerlord multiplayer, nor Chiv as you pointing towards. I got Bannerlord for the single player, and it seems majority of the players playing Bannerlord did as well. Good chance they wasn't interested in Chiv either.

Where is the good singple player in chiv dude... Come on make it happen, and I get the game -) Game so bad, doiesn't have any single player campaign, booo hizzz ;p

I was implying that people who ARE interested in playing Bannerlord multiplayer WOULDN'T play Bannerlord multiplayer, on account of it being bad enough that more people would rather install a game launcher that they dislike than to continue playing the online medieval game on Steam.

Except the game they'd install the Epic Launcher over has been on Steam for two and a half years now, and Bannerlord's PVP component is still worse than installing the Epic Games Launcher.
