How do I kick out a follower?

I've made them into a lord with their own fief but for some reason they're back in my party after losing a battle I think. Now I can't get them leave and get them to form their own army. Any help would be greta.

Yeah, for some reason it's not as user friendly as it was. You need to talk to them from the party screen, only when you're outside of a town. It doesn't work any other way lol (unless they're killed)

So go to party screen, click the follower and there should be a talk option beneath them. Then you talk like normal to them but with the extra option to kick them out

One time I did this, and the follower still attached to my army, with no equipment. He had to be physically dumped out like extra looters

Still get nothing the only option I get is wanting to trade. I've got 2 followers that have there own clans now and both insist on staying with me

No idea how you're giving followers their own clans lol.

because I can't find a single sodding lord to follow me its always go speak to this person or they don't even entertain the idea of it.
