Phasos gone, just disappeared.

Hey yo,

I'm playing an only slightly modded campaign in 1.2.8 and my younger brother is nowhere to be found other than in the encyclopedia, where it says he's last seen around Rhotae (which is funny cause there is also this village near Rhotae called Phasos).
I would like him back.

What does it say about him in your clan window?

You could try using the console to add him as a prisoner to an enemy clan party. If it works, wait for him to escape, or go free him.

Ah thanks Action Man, that sounds like a tip worth exploring! No idea how, but I suppose googling it will get me there, I think what you are saying is I should use cheat codes in the console line?

Phasos is not IN my clan window, although he does show as belonging to my clan in the encyclopedia.

I had this once, also in a modified game.
My brother disappeared and when I checked his status, he was waiting in a town. I couldn't summon him to my group, so I traveled to the location, only to not find him there. His status was then “regrouping” after a few days he spawns in another town. After that, I was able to call him back to my party again.

In the base game, the only way he cannot be in your clan window - via the L key - is if he's not in your clan. This would mean he was married out to a clan/faction leader. One of your mods might have messed something up, even if you wouldn't think so.

Another possibility is if he's still under 18, he won't appear in the world at all.

The console suggestion was something I've tried in the past because some NPCs were just missing forever.

No, he's over 18, but not married off, though he might have liked that. He shows as belonging to my clan in the Encyclopedia, but that really is the only place he is showing.

Only mod is Banner Kings. Just about.

The face is neither Russian nor simian, it's a rock! From Rock of Ages 2. Which I never play, cause I'm a bannerlord. Or bannerpeasant as yet.

Acrually, there is another menu I can find Phasos, which I am now going to try: the marriage menu!
Oh.. He shows up as a possible candidate, however, "Phasos is not available for marriage". No further info given..

As far as I can see, the Banner Kings mod was last updated on March 22, 2024. Maybe that's the reason?

Unfortunately, when you mod, you activate the 'warranty voided' argument. Anything that goes wrong in your game will be attributed to any mods.

In the vanilla game, I have not had this issue when a clan member just disappears, so it may be the way your mods are playing has affected something.
