I think this is probably the best youtube channel for mod information.

It makes noble cavalry roll everything. Bows and arbalest are very hard to shoot (real physics) and they are suboptimal vs plate (realistic), swords are suboptimal vs plate (realistic). So unless you love riding with a coached lance and fighting with a 2-H mace, your options are pretty limited.
IMO RBM requires De Re Militaria mod which cuts down on noble recruits drastically. 90% of the armies are levies and that make RBM passable. Still battles are tough and grueling.
RBM AI module is very good though. I use RBM for that.
It's not even possible to screw up installing one mod, following the directions precisely. Just shut up and move on, because you have no idea what you are talking about. Nobody cares about your stupid anecdotal bias.
The dozens of mods I have running beg to differ with your assessment. It's unfortunate you couldn't get the mod(s) you wanted working. It's not the game's fault a mod doesn't work.
If no one cares about my anecdotal bias, no one cares about yours either, right? :)
For real though, I've installed about a dozen or so mods over the past week in various combinations and the crashing was only happening when I made an obviously foolish mistake like installing without reading directions or combining conflicting mods.
Just chill, read the directions twice, make sure you're using the correct version of the game, and install one mod at a time (manually if you have to).

some of the mods are even "outdated", but so far no big problems.
I was under the impression that Butterlib and MCM(Mod Configurartion Manager v5) didn't work or were causing crashes in 1.2.10.....??? Would be greatly pleased if that's not the case!
I haven't had any crashing issues beyond testing out new mod versions and that instability. I'll get that worked out.
+1
tho nexus mods might be up to date
