Best setup for directional attack and blocking?
I'm trying to get off the auto-block training wheels but I feel like the game isn't very responsive when I try to block certain ways, sometimes it feels like I think that I moved my mouse in one direction only for the game to block differently.

Is it best to bind attack/block direction "by look direction"? How does "Vertical Movement Scale for Direction Gestures" work? High/low mouse sensitivity?

I like by look rather then by WASD.

Tweak the sensitivity until it works for you.

I play the game with setup "by look direction" as well. it's so much more intuitive for me that way because I am blocking where I "see/predict" the attack is coming from.

Probably sounds dumb but I don't quite get what the "Vertical movement scale" setting actually does? I kind of have a hard time figuring out what both ends of the slider does, does the setting affect how much motion you have to do to trigger the vertical attack/block actions?

I've also seen some people say to put block on inverse mouse controls, sounds weird but I may try it.
