Think I broke the game with mods
Downloaded a number of mods and got them all working through trial and error (as one does) and managed to play a few hours. Noticed some bugs so I messed with the load order to see if that would help and after restarting it the game didn't load. I uninstalled all mods completely and ran it again. It worked but only once and now no matter what I do It won't start.

I've read past posts with similar problems, all posts are either inconclusive or the solutions listed doesn't fix my issue. I've seen some things talking about the launchers config files but I can't seem to find them. Any help is appreciated, Thank you.

P.S. I had those four mods that you NEED to use to mod the game installed.

Disable all mods. Delete shader cache. Recheck your game files via Steam.

Just the whole folder for the shaders?
The shaders cache purge is only required if you ever used total conversion mods or if everything else fails. It will force vanilla client to recompile the shaders as intended.

After you launch vanilla game it will freeze for a while depending if you have SSD and HDD (long time), as game will recompile the shaders.

This is why do it only if everything else fails or your game is still constantly crashing even after files recheck.

"C:\ProgramData\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord" delete shaders folder.

"C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Shaders\D3D11" delete compressed_shaders_cache.sack
I think that did it but the file hasn't returned yet. is it supposed to?
If it is needed by vanilla it will. It's just a cache to speed up graphics rendering.
Gotcha. Thank you for your concise and clear instructions. It immediately fixed my issues.
