Team disqualified in tournament despite winning.
How does tournament progression work? I have had times where I lost one but got to progress and another time when I get downed and my team wins and I get disqualified. Both have happened with roughly 1-2 kills.

Half number of teams survived last will come to next round. Kills is not factor to counted.

If 4 teams compete in a round and your team is last to be eliminated your team moves on. so 2x2s2x2 will have two teams win and move on.

Yeah but my team won and I died so why did my team get disqualified?

Did the rest of your team move on to the next round?

If your team was the last one standing, but was eliminated, it sounds like a bug

I don't believe team or kills matter, its who survived the longest, the last few alive are the ones that move on.

So technically you can just run around as a coward and somehow move to the next round as a result?

Technically yes, but your team will struggle with one less member helping and that might result in you alone vs more than one at the end.

Suppose you could do a "Benny Hill" run around the arena and keep your enemies busy chasing you, while your team mates whack them.

You have 4 teams. 4 men each. Lets say you are blue team. If yellow and green teams loose all 4 people and it is just you and red team you can loose and still continue to the next round. If it is 1x1x1x1 it is the same so yes in some instances you can run like a coward and not even fight but win.
