How to use both steam and Nexus mods?
Can anyone guide me how? Do I have to reinstall all mods I've been using on steam with the version on nexus mod? Or is there a way to use them both with steam?

Drop the mod folder into the Modules folder. When downloading from the Nexus, the mod folder is in a zip file. Take it from there and drop it in the Modules folder.

Bear in mind that some zipped mods are already in a Modules folder. You'll have to open that folder to get the actual mod folder. Don't put a Modules folder into your Modules folder. I don't think Bannerlord can detect it.

Once you've dropped the mod folder into the Modules folder, load up the Bannerlord launcher and go to the mods tab. You should see the mod in the list. Click the box to turn it on.

This should work for pretty much all mods. Some mods on the Nexus are file replacers, not mods. They should have specific instructions for what to do in those cases. If you ever do replace a file instead of using the Modules folder, make a copy of the original and store it somewhere in case you want to revert.

You should be able to use both sources as far as I know. The difference between the two is if the workshop mod is updated, it may no longer be compatible with the version of the game you're running. Mods you download from the Nexus and manually install won't auto update.

How do I install it manually? Steam has been doing it automatically, as for nexus I use vortex so haven't a clue where to start. I know I can activate the mod with Bannerlord launcher but where do I manually install nexus mod files for steam version games?

Thank you...I just made a mistake for a moment where there is a requirement mod needed to be installed together that isn't in the module causing the mod to grey out and can't be selected in the launcher. Should have read carefully the mod requirements section on nexus.

You've helped a lot, going to be a fun weekend for me.
