How do I give myself the dragon banner?

Was in the process of trying to give the banner to Daddy Unqid but he died and I succeeded him...how do I give myself the banner?

I think your supposed to either give it to a faction leader, or use it to start your own faction.

You don't. You kinda screwed yourself in regard of the campaign. For a safe bet, form your own kingdom. Once you give the banner to another faction leader its out of your hands. If they die, well.. that is the end of the line.

I am the faction leader for the Aserai and I still have the banner. I just don't know how to give it to myself without creating an independent faction

If you have the "complete" banner, then you have it in your inventory. If you don't have it in your inventory you don't have it.

Crux is... You gave the banner to another faction leader.... You picked the step in the campaign quest to support another faction, thus, you can't just go back and do a redo. They die and you become faction leader, the campaign quest basically fails. The banner itself is trash in regard of bonus it give.

It is not possible to complete the campaign as faction leader of one of the starting factions.

That banner sucks, anyway. There are lots of better banners to be had. It sucks, and you do not need it to start your own kingdom, so I wouldn't worry about it.

You can resign as king of the Aserai. A new king will be elected and you can give it to him and remain in the Aserai Kingdom. You will probably have completed the main questline before the new king dies and you or your heir will no doubt be elected as the next king.
