Increase AI aggression?
Even with small/weaker armies the AI is super defensive. Is there a mod that makes them carelessly aggressive in battles?

No, the AI is tactical it actually does have a semblance of tactics in the combat map. Still more then easy enough to smash but they're not going to lemming jump onto your spears
