Can't Finalize marriage ?

I'm trying to marry my character to Caladog's Relative Beasag and i've won her over but when the time comes to finalize the marriage i pay the money and it says the deal is accepted then nothing happens? Whats gone wrong here?

EDIT: ok, so earlier i romanced but didn't marry caladog's daughter corein - when i go to marry beasag the game shows corein in the marriage finalization screen. Now I can't marry either person but the game still takes my money.

Stuff like that used to happen a couple years ago. I thought it was patched out.

Now a days... I just go to caladog as soon as I have 90k. "yo, I wanna marry". And if Corein isnt in an army, he offers her. No persuasion necessary. You can do this for your family members too...

Anyway, I'd post this in the TECH SUPPORT forum. I believe it is a bug, since I saw this long long ago... and it was a "known issue".

Hmmmm. Make sure you have no mods, and are on the current version of game too.
I'd hate for you to put in a tech ticket, and it turns out you are using a broken mod, or a version of the game from 30 months ago. When the bug was active.

i'm on the release build and have no mods installed, i'll submit a ticket and see what happens.

Are you at war or are they leading a party. Marriage cant occur if the ai is a party leader during war.

Can you talk to Corein and talk about not marrying her anymore then try to marry Beasag again?

i just tried marrying phaea yesterday...

either she or her dad goes to war. i rescued her dad once, but then she goes to war

i have to wait till the day she get released by peace deal, then talk to her dad(roaming around villages) right away

1- It won't give u the option To marry a daughter IF she is in an army, or prison. Or married of course.

This COULD be the problem OP is having (since he Courted her.. instead of just buying her).

But.

2- It shouldn't take your money. If you can't finalize it, you don't get the option to "finalize the marriage" when u talk to the Clan leader (or at least u didn't in the past).


This seems far more like the old bug, where you'd go to marry your bro to Ira, but it wouldn't happen, and your money would disappear. Now u couldnt marry your bro to ANYONE, he wasnt married to IRA, and you couldnt marry IRA yourself. You'd have to CHEAT MODE, kill her. Then start again.
