Error - ROT Mod "Cannot load"
Hi everyone, I'm new trying to use mods in Bannerlord and I tried to install the Realm of Thrones (ROT) mod and when trying to launch the game, an error pops up saying that "Error. Cannot load: ...\ROT-Core\bin\...". I made sure to have the other required mods insatlled (Harmony, UI Extender, and Mod Configuration Menu) aswell as having the right Bannerlord versions (I tested with both 1.2.7 and 1.2.8). I aslo used 7zip as the tool to unzip the ROT files I downloaded from Nexus. Any ideas of what may be going on? Thank you very much in advance!

I think that mod has a discord. I would recommend checking there to see what assistance that mod author (or team) can give.

Hi man, thank you for the answer. Unfortunately I didn't find any specific discord for Realm of Thrones. :steamsad:

The link is right in the Description on their Nexus page. Nice big icon to click.

https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/2907

Description tab --> Scroll down to the big button that says "Join our Discord"

Thanks again man. I supose I'm blind xd At the end it seems like it was a matter of not having runned the "dll unlocker". I'll leave here the link just in case someone ends up having the same issue: https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/397

That's the easy part - you don't
You just have to open program named "Launch me"

If you are new then you shouldnt be trying to use mods. Play the vanilla game first. Mods are not necessary to enjoy this game and trying to add mods when the game isnt even finished is just stupid.

hey,
do you need to unblocked the new DLL`s !!!
manually or automatic with windows shell command`s

edit;

this YouTube video might be able to help you.
It only has German voice output,
but you can choose any subtitle language of your choice.

It explains and shows exactly how to enter the command via the Windows shell and what needs to be written for it.

This mod folder opening command or DLL unblocker will then be active until you install a new mod, which then also requires this command,
or you have or make an update to your mods or the game itself.

That's how I understood it.

And just for your information about this video,

I'm not the YouTube streamer or creator of this video myself, but I just found this video on YouTube, and it helped me a lot to fix my game crashes. Thanks should therefore go to the nice and helpful person whose name you can find on YouTube. I have never and will never take credit for other people's work or the trying to sell other people's excellent work as mine..,
