How does "donate prisoner" work relationwise???
In my current playthrough, i am trying to befriend as many as possible before starting my own kingdom.
This far i have released all lords except mercerneries, whom i donate to as prisoner in cities.
My question is, how can it be, that sometimes i get non positiv relation by doing this, while at other times i get +35ish relation?? has it something to do with the clan owning the city?

I think clan leaders are worth more, and faction leaders are worth even more. Your charm skill plays into it. As you level charm, you get bonuses to reputation gains, and donating/releasing prisoners releases charm. As the game goes on, your relation gains will get better passively.

I'm level 260 in charm at this point.
a normal lord i get 10 relation and a clan leader gives the 35.
The weird thing is, why i get no relation for donating the lords as prisoners in some cities.
You have 3 brackets. Normal lord, clanleader and king. The latter can give you 100+.

In addition it depends on the traits of the prisoner and the dungeonowner. Opposing traits gives a bonus relationship boost whereas shared traits risk giving you nothing at all.

Afaik deppends on the relation you have with the fief owner, and the nobles in the town at the current time. If you already maxed out relation you wont get any more.

Thank you, this seems to be my problem.
