If you can just roflstomp everything from the start games end up boring. Once you get to that point where you can start dish out the pain based on your effort, at least you have some sense of achivement.
this game is not for you!!!
an to answer your question, NO.
nobody besides you uses freaking console commands to get stronger in mount and blade......
because the whole reason we play the game IS TO GET STRONGER OURSELF, that is the whole point of the game!!!
And be honest, didnot you played with cheats at SOME point in your life? I know i did. Sure, not in this game, not even in first M&B, but i did. And likely would do in some other game at some point. And everybody does, just like everybody watched porn at least once in their life. So ragging like that is not fair.
so true, m&b 2 is SHOCKINGLY easy.
i try to make it harder myself with every playthrough with only taking one faction, one troop type, only family members etc.
but still.........
2 main problems are the reason in my opinion after having 4k hours in the m&b franchise.
first of all, the AI is "somewhat" capable in the battle, but the main problem is how the AI behaves BEFORE the battles, meaning the moving and actions on the map.
you can kite and/or manipulate them into ANY situation you like.
resulting in favoring your faction in every given moment.
you found an army that is to big for you, no prob, just run close to them, and kite them to wherever on the map you like.
and second, the still completely broken economy.
money means NOTHING in this game, you are so unbelivable filthy rich, that nothing gold related matters in ANY form.
that results in making pretty much every unit below t5 useless because wages playing no roll,
thats just the 2 "main reasons" is see in the difficulty.
there is tons more.
calm down buddy, I said I have two saves one for regular playthrough and one where i mess around and be like genghis khan in real life but in the game using console commands. i'll switch back to playing the game without cheats when eventually i get bored of my OP using cheats playthrough
