Get that clan tier up.
Are you vassal or mercenary, and which clan has higher influence?
Are you leading an army, or just your single party. And does the ones taking over the siege, lead an actual army? Command points isn't based just on single party size, unit strenght, but number of lords/parties in army etc as well. Some TW dev made a post on the TW forums a good while back with a breakdown of command point values. It was in response to someone, so to actually dig it out searching for it can take some time. What I recall though is if you was the king you would get 2000 command points by default and no one would be able to take your siege.
edit: Found the posts
"The game supports 8 formations per side in missions. The commanders of each side have the ability to issue order to these formations. (So if the player is not the commander, they do not have that ability.) Player captains have the ability to issue orders to the formation that they lead.
From what I recall, the commander score is determined by something like this
If character is clan leader add clan tier * 100, otherwise add clan tier * 20.
If character is King add extra 2,000 points.
If a character is Army Leader add 200 points for each party in the army.
Add number of soldiers in the party.
In sieges, the ownership of the settlement may also be relevant, though I am not sure about that.
If you are never the commander in 3-party/actor fights (f.e. when you are king & lead an army & have the most troops), that would likely be a bug.
The fundamental system of seniority is not new - It's been part of the game even prior to EA. I will double check regarding the access to the OOB screen though."

How many parties in your army vs theirs though. According to the above, each party in an army adds 200 command pts.
