The AI enemy throws rock like a sniper.
Im riding horse by using bow in realist difficulty. However all enemies throws rocks to me like 50 years experienced sniper. The accuracy is so high, I've seen them do many headshots on me. Please balance the accuracy of the AI when they are using rock.

this is a known issue and has been known since release. I know it's preachy, but you might want to do a super quick search about bugs before posting cause it tends to hurt more than help when theres 30 threads on the same topic. someone has to sort through em you know
redwitch Jul 18, 2020 @ 6:12am
well, as a child, I, too, used to throw rocks like a sniper. What's wrong with that?
redwitch Jul 18, 2020 @ 6:28am
btw ... you have to consider that peasants have to train throwing stones from the earliest childhood to become the deadly snipers they are in game.

No, they don't. I've tested this several times.

Smooth stones are not overly difficult to throw accurately, and that aside, looters lack the laser accuracy so many speak of.

That said, I'm not actively defending this game right now, so I won't be getting into a debate about this. Watch the footage or don't. なんでもない

Oh get off your highhorse. Looters are known to be high-tier troop killer. Your Empire vet. always die to looters. At least 1 in every clash.

And since we don't have night vision in Banner Lord. Don't fight in the night. Especially that map that have lots fo trees. It's blockout moon light and render the whole screen pit black.

Yeah? I think you may have missed these two.

Unless you're telling me that the empire's recruits are tougher than their elites. If that's the case, this game has incredibly deep issues that a couple tweaks to accuracy won't fix.

ranged weapons generally are ridiculously OP, so too, stone throwing looters, and it's ridiculous to claim othewise. Since I don't want to start a real campaign because of the state of the game, I just wander the map with my companions and engage bandit groups. I have a fast horse, an aserai, and circle around big group of looters at full speed. I get regularly hit nonetheless. They don't do much damage, but they do it regularly, much more so than in warband.
btw... the same issue makes forest bandits by far the strongest bandit group because of their ranged weapons, all the others are a joke, esp. the sea raider, which are a caricature of what they were in warband. It's the same problem as in warband, brought to a higher level, ranged weapon are too accurate, too fast, able to penetrate any armor. In arena fights even the most basic units manage to hit from the other side of the map. I don't need "tests" to call a duck a duck.

Exactly my friend thats what Im talking about. I've got enough armor and a horse, I scroll around of them but somehow they calculate everything like Einstein and they hit me. In realistic settings it takes your health pretty much especially when 10 people throw rock on your head at the same time.

Sort of makes sense, when you stop to think about it. There is likely a reason projectile weapons saw more and more advancement as time went on. Being able to kill your foe in battle well beyond his striking distance is deliberately an unfair advantage.
Sacrifice Jul 19, 2020 @ 2:04pm
This is why personally I keep everything on realistic except the damage I take, as I personally like to play as if i'm a Hero and the rest are weak, I wish I could also buff all the commanders/companions of each army to also be alot stronger too (I will either find a mod or try and makes some changes myself)

That much is understandable. If it's a play style difference, I'm all for tweaking the damage down.
