I just got charm skill exp by entering barter with her and gifting her... nothing. She loved it.

Didn't check if that gave any relation with her, though.

I think you cannot, i was on 20 before marriage with Svana, just got married and it went down to 0... modern life I guess xD
I see you haven't been married before this.

Some things in the game are unrealistic, others are sadly true to life.

There are no personal relationships with people in clans. From what I see everybody in the same clan has the same relation score with you. So when you marry your spouse moves to your clan, that's why their relation drops. To increase it you can go to different keeps, leave them at the keep so they can appear as an NPC, and beat them at the board games. That will increase your relation with your own clan by 1-3. But when it reaches 6 or something they start calling you "my friend"... Overall it seems pointless.

Yeah it seems to be this way which is a sad direction, it would be nice if clan relation was with the Clan leader or some other form so the individuals inside it can either still like you or hate you

Once, when I raided a camp following an army as a vassal, a companion event appeared to tell me that he did not want me to raid villages, I tell him that I wasnt going to do it again, and then a pop up appeared saying, "youre relationship with "insert clan name" is +2"
Maybe this is still to implement I guess.

One mod that I have that does this makes is so you gain relations with lords that you are in a large battle with. This also affects companions so that's how I've been doing mine. You can also assign her as a governor and play board games with her

Only way I've found is to beat her in a board game. It seems your relations with her re-set after you get married; I had 32 with her before marriage, and zero after.

A romantic dinner, a backrub and a footmassage is a good start.

I come home after a long day at the war and see my wife smiling down from the Keep. Then, I go to the Keep and she's scowling at me... Maybe she thought I was someone else?

Playing board games might work, but I've only tried a couple and haven't yet got the hang of them.

Prior to marriage in Warband, there were several ways to raise Rep with one's beloved. After Marriage, there really wasn't much of anything. Tournament dedications might get you a point up to a certain level, but that was about it.

I'd like to see something expanded there. The only reason being player engagement and getting the player a bit more attached to the idea of "Family" and "Clan."

And, where the heck are my kids? I have two, but they're nowhere to be found. It'd kind of be nice to introduce myself... We could play "Catch-the-Sturgian" or "Crazy Khuzait" or something. "Chutes and Ladders" with real chutes and ladders?

According to the encyclopedia, they're in the same place as the brother is (in HOLDING (different from "Holding," somehow) in Chaikand). I've seen some people are able to put them into their parties later on, so perhaps that's only through their infancy (maybe they don't have a baby-level character image, yet?)
Play a board game with her. Coincidentally, actually spending time with your wife is the key to a warm and loving relationship.

Play some Tablut - it's pretty easy if you learn the right tricks.

Try playing less bannerlord and spending more time with her.

Give her a foot rub, they go crazy for that.

yes, the good old "pulp fiction" foot massage...
