I did try to install the mods true Vortex but it doesn't install anything in the modules folder.
I try to do this manually to modules folder but the game is crashing.

Common man, the game can't be that bad/boring for you (urgently) need the use of mods right after its release.

Just unpack mod's folder into "...steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules" and then unblock mod's dll's

I don't even have a modules folder. At all. I have no idea what to do

Getting mods is rather useless for the time being. Every mod i download crashes the game. The game won't work with mods right now with all the updates. It's not worth it using a mod that will only last a week or not at all.

I haven't been able to play since 1.2.1 lmao
I used mods and found that they drastically improved the quality of the gameplay for me. We'll just have to wait six months to a year for stable mods.

You can change which version you are playing on (thus not breaking the mods).

You can change the version by: Steam Library -> Right-click on Bannerlord -> Properties -> Betas -> click the drop down menu for the version that is stable with the mods you desire.

Gr8 B8 M8; I R8 8/8!

But if that is a sincere belief you hold and not a bate....apologies, but more importantly you need to (urgently) try

https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/968?tab=files

It's called "Separatism" and it makes lords with low relations to their liege rebel. It fixes snowballing, adds in tons of diplomacy, deep intrigue and razor's edge of excitement pretty much all the time...or kinda the right amount of time.

You MUST try it.

With mods the game is actually here now.
