No execution penalty
Does anyone know of any mods or any way to get rid of the execution penalty fighting a war on three fronts and tired of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lords escaping and coming back with hundreds of men

I'm surprised no one has made it yet, it would be a top rated download. In fact, I would like to see one where you get a bonus if the lord raided your villages. Like a yo dude, you raided the town and killed my wife, so it's Braveheart time on your !@#

Is this an issue also when you execute non-noble Lords? Vicious, was it, the game term?

Yea, this is a needed mod for sure.

Try letting them go after combat. You get positive relation with them. Then eventually attempt to recruit them and talk them into leaving their faction.

after i let them go their back with almost 70 men and my meager 400 man army cannot keep fighting them

Yeah I mean..you have to execute or they'll just keep spamming armies. So I said f it and i execute them. The relation penalty does not seem to matter much right now. So just cut their heads off .

I think they should add an option like duel to the death. Instead of executing, you duel the lord and don't lose honor by killing him.

Just take a break from singleplayer its horrible at the moment.Wait for a mod or the game devs to fix the issue,Because now you have only 2 options which just sucks up the fun of the game.Kill or let them go.Imprisoning doesn't work because you can't even keep them locked up for 3 days.BS

It sounds to me that perhaps you need to assess your campaign strategy. If you but leveled their villages, they would have no troops to recruit. Better still, press their potential recruits into your service. Your ranks swell while theirs run dry.

If you level villages, you wont be recruiting there either and also in the future.

Nope, they spawn in free units every time they are released or excape.

You are talking about things that simply do not exist. Just because you want them to doesn't mean they do exist.

There's no actual penalty for killing Lords just ignore the nonsense negative 100 number.

I have recruited half-a-dozen Lords all negative 100 they are stuck with me for a few hours and show no sign of rebelling. prior to me killing people I had Lourdes that I had positive relationships declaring war on me. other than a few random lines of dialogue there is literally no difference between having negative 100 relationship and plus 100 relationship and the actual gameplay and interaction between yourself and AI Lords.

Is there a mod for that yet?

Righteous Executions for example will remove the penalties: https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/559

1. Install mod
2. Load a save game or a new game, the .xml with the settings is generated
3. Close game
4. Edit the .xml with the settings you want (on the mod page, note that they're case sensitive)
5. Start your game
6. Enjoy

Actually, if you have played in a faction that loses a lot of their territory, loses big battles, and/or has their villages raided, (I’m looking at you Sturgia) you will find that the ai can’t recruit much, and what they can get (usually 30 or less) they grind their faces into looters or caravans.
So, burning places to recruit does hurt a faction under those circumstances where lords are frantically trying to get recruits.

Considering the following :

1. AI cannot recruit from neutral villages (they seek only their own).
2. AI cannot save scum the battle results.
3. Free units does not meet the requirements to join an army (under 40%).

Lords that get released or get away is step one, step two is to not allow them to recruit. My favorite trick is to release a Clan tier 5 lord, then proceed to his home, wait in the bushes out of their sighting distance, and strike when the lord opens the gate to get the morning news paper ...

"You again?"
"Indeed, shall we have another go?"

:P
