Can't find quest location

I got a quest from a npc who said they marked the location on the map of a nearby bandit hideout. I can't find it anywhere, is there a different map then the general map of the land? I'm new to the game, any help would be appreciated!

When they mark it, it means the put the tracking dot on it. It is similar to when the player clicks the empty circle on a town or city. If you zoom in all the way you should see the location name with a white dot next to it. Zoom out and see where it was at on the map. Usually it is near the quest giver's town/village.
