I can leave the battlefield just seconds before and cheat battles.
Hey there, just realized in field battles I can setup shield walls, archers on a high hill, kill about 30-40 enemies before they even get one kill. Right about when their infantry is 5 seconds next to mine I walk off into the red boarder, it counts down, and I get to restart the battle and do this OVER and over again and slay them moments before they get a chance with just archers.

Cheat? Yes.
How to fix this? Maybe no exit to battlefield, keep fights fair. Just a boarder that prevents you from running? No retreating?

In previous entries retreating from a battle like this would cost some attrition. It's like that is just not yet implemented.

Just don't do that? It's a single-player game. You're only cheating against yourself. You can literally just use the console to knock out every enemy before they get to your troops so I fail to see how this exploitable cheese matters at all.

Yeah, I don't like finding exploits like this in the game, I feel like it is a big oversight by the devs...

Or just early in the game testing? Lots of oversights right now.

The most reward for the least risk is using the console to win every battle with 0 risk, so, while I see what you're trying to get at, this argument really falls flat for me. I suppose I have no issue with the Devs "fixing" this exploit, I just see it as such a huge non-issue that I'd be irritated if they wasted their time on it right now.

I probably wouldn't have figured out this exploit if random 15-40 enemy groups wouldn't just pool around my seige until there was enough of them to match my forces and stop my siege. SOO annoying because I'd do this trick, kill em off, another day goes in my seige prep and another 300 troops finally pool and attack my 300 troop army again. Kill em off. Think to myself, "Yeah lets build a seige weapon." ... and they just keep coming like there's no tomorrow. It's a GREAT way to build up charm if you just release them over and over again too with this trick.
