What can I do with noble prisoners? Can I get influence?
I have about 7 noble prisoners in my dungeon. I have no need for more money. What can I do besides ransoming them? I'd love to use them to gain influence somehow which I think I heard you can do, but idk how.

Go to a friendly town/castle (not your own), open the keep, go to the dungeon and deliver them there.
In return you will get influence. For all prisoners, not just nobles.

Let them go rather than taking them prisoner.

Yeah just let them go to gain relation. Or execute them :D

the only reason why I would keep them as prisoners is after iwnning big battle I would put them all into jail to delay them re-creating armies while I'm conquering them :P otherwise, I am letting them go

Donate them to allied city or castle dungeon, that should give you influence, give them to a friendly Lord via barter, that should train your charm better than releasing them, or execute them, so you never have to fight them again ;]

Donate prisoners to keeps of towns and castles (if your vassal or merc) for influence gain. From my experience this is the best way to get influence atm.

If you have own kingdom, you can stash them to keeps dungeon too, but they will just stay there until they break out at some point, at current state of the game.

Letting them go after fight, improves your relations with the person you let go.

Unfortunately though it'll only be like 3x the influence compared to any recruit. But ransoming to tavern its like over 100x the value compared to a recruit

Another option is to barter them to another noble.

In most cases, I think this is not especially better or worse than dealing with the ransom broker, but if you just do it as a Gift, it might cause a relation increase. I'm not sure what happens if the prisoner has no particular connection to the other noble, but in my game, I managed to convince a Khuzait to switch sides. I happened to have taken her daughter prisoner earlier. The barter option for her said "Release" instead of "Hand over." I did this, not asking for anything in return, and got a +6 relation bonus with the mother.

Nice. The Khergits flipped in my game to Vlandia. They've done pretty well for themselves, given they have a city, and only a few Khuzaits do now.

I gave a noble prisoner to a fellow vassal and I lost 1 relation. And since lords seem to give virtually the same amount of influence as looters I decided to just ransom them. You can never have too much money, even though I have more then I am able to spend.
