Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

View Stats:
The Aserai is The Strongest Faction Overall.
  • Veteran Infantry wield shields for protection against projectiles, swords for melee combat, polearms to kill cavalry, and javelins for ranged combat. Fit for every situation possible.

  • Master Archers are pretty standard. Sword, longbow, and 2 stacks of arrows.

  • Mameluke Heavy Cavalry are the best tier 5 cavalry in the game. They ride the fastest standard war horse breed, the Aserai Horse, and wield mameluke lances. They can kite any other horse unit with their incredible speed and arrows.

  • Vanguard Faris are the fastest unit in the game and wield mameluke lances and javelins. Their stats are better distributed over other elite units of other factions. Their max speed is almost double that of the Cataphracts while being nearly as heavily armored.

  • Culture Bonus drops caravan prices to 10.5K which is huge for new characters. The 10% caravan wage reduction is a permanent bonus to the main passive source of income. No bonus is as game changing as this one. (No culture bonus work yet however.)

  • Sanala is a capital city with 4 bound villages, all of which are food producers. The city can easily pass the 20k prosperity mark. Not to mention how well protected its location is. In comparison, all 3 imperial factions don't own a single city with 4 bound villages and are surrounded by enemies from all sides.

  • Unqid is a generous man that is so selfless that he would sometimes propose policies that hurt him as the the Sultan for the sake of the rest. He also never claims new fiefs for himself, at least in my saves.

FIGHT ME.

Yeah, no culture bonus work whatsoever but it's the best if they were to work.

They also have nice silk clothes and use curved swords. Objectively the best.

I would like to give it try once it works, however making money is not a problem for me. Valandia's and Empire's bonuses look useful too as does the horse peoples movement boost. The other two are just ugh

True, money is not an issue but what's better than money? Even more money is my answer! Passive income is great and the bonus will make you a millionaire much faster.

Yeah I didn't plan to conquer them, But it just happened, and their Unit Roster has proven surprisingly good. Very pleased with how versatile they are, that is how I like my Army to be.

The ability to get better experienced troops is a stronger bonus, but that;s just my opinion. More money is always nice as you say. Also nothing stopping you using another factions bonuses and hiring another's best troops like those vanguard faris you mentioned. I'm going to get me some of those. :steamhappy:

Khuzaits have the best horse archers.
Battanians have the best archers.
Vlandians have the best heavy cavalry.
Empire has a good mix of everything.

Also the Aserai culture bonus sucks. Money is super easy to come by in this game but you know what isn't? Leveled up, quality troops.
In over 120 hours of gameplay the Aserai (along with the Sturgians) have been the first to lose in the campaign. Every. Single.Time.

same for me. Campaign wise, they are weakest alongside Sturgians.

Same, Aserai are the first ones to die in every game. Hell, just go into a tournament in their cities and see how terrible their troops are.

haha true. Everytime I am at the tournament in Empire city and have elite cataphract as a final opponent, I know i am in for long and close fight. Same for Battania (but mostly because of the manual block with 2handers) but Aserai? Easy-peasy ;) also, I am sporting Empire army and can cut through top tier Aserai armies like hot knife through butter. Biggest problem for me? Khuzaits. At least empire have decent horse archers, I can imagine a pain if I would be sporting Vlandian or Battanian themed armies and be forced to fight Khuzaits :D

Their horses are good, but infantry is weak(their helmet is like 20 armour).
I would say khuzaits are stronger and Khuzait AI almost always one of the strongest aswell.

How are Aserai doing in your campaign?
~ Fabulous ~ Apr 16, 2020 @ 6:20am
they tend to not have enough reputation to rise big army resulting in Rolf having to do the talk no jutsu to stop super big enemy hoard...at least in my play through ...thou i kinda agree that their units works well together as they can 3v1 with super minimal losses(below 10 in super big battle)
