Game crashes on startup
Everything is said in the title. Yesterday I played the game and everything was fine, I have two mods, one of them being a mod that unlocks all smithing parts and another one that tweaks a bunch of things. I launched the game with both of these mods on yesterday and played fine. This morning I launched the game again, after a Windows update (The kind you have no option to say no to) and now my game will not launch. The game loads a little bit and then I get a crash. I decided to launch the game without mods and it did the same. I restarted my game both with and without mods and nothing changed. I litteraly can't play the game anymore, please help

Its probably caused by windows update, wait for patch from devs and i dont think there is windows update u cant say no, just turn off auto update function. Game is far from finished, it has a lot of problems. Could check what is cause of crash tho.

Verify files, it worked for me and didn't took too long

FYI - Been at it for over 30 minutes now, tried it all and finally got it to work.
Went thru all the standard fixes. Restart PC, Restart Steam client, GPU driver update, Verify installed files, disabled/removed all Mods, changed the beta track I was opted into but nothing worked until I saw a few of the pinned support posts and the one that actually resolved was launching the game directly from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client\Bannelord.exe, which bypasses the launcher & the Steam overlay but works

If you do that then you can't play with mods and the issue was tied with a missing game file that deleted itself after my windows update

Well, there's a fix for the launcher-simply go to the nexus, download vortex and the fixed launcher mod, install and enjoy!
