Support Kingdom or create own kingdom? (This applies to empire as well)
Do you have a preference to these two choices? Who would you support if you decided not to create a kingdom?
I decided to support the Aserai sultanate largely because their leader 1) was the first to ask me to be his vassal and 2) gave me at least 7 fiefdoms (town/castle accompanied by a number of villages) which helped me out tremendously.

Depends on the type of character I'm playing as.

The various factions have their own 'difficulty' in the game, and that can influence my decision too. IMO:

Vlandia/Khuzait are the easiest.
Empire factions (any) are more difficult.*
Aserai/Sturgia a bit harder.
Battania is the hardest.

*I put Empire above Aserai/Sturgia because Imperial is the most common culture, and it's the easiest faction to get recruits. Aserai and Sturgia have some difficult map placement, and Battania is overall the weakest faction.

I generally dislike being a ruler in this game, so I usually go the vassal route and do my own thing. I usually stop playing once I get to be the dominant power, because it's not much of a challenge. The Endgame is a repetitive grind.

None of the above.

I play campaign and rescue my siblings, and then I ignore Neretzes' Folly and let that main quest expire and play it like a sandbox. (Which it is.)

Battania is the weakest?

I have 130 battanian fians with 70 infantry

I faced 600 units armies alone and won, bannerlord difficulty lol

Just need to position, exploit terrain opportunities and let them arrow the enemy

I saved Caladog's armies 3 times. The odds were so against me his relation to me is maxed now (100)

It's pretty op.

Check my achievements if you think I am lying, I just got the win odds one

With a better Captain for the formation, they could be even more deadly

I just married Caladog's daughter Corein, she is a monster. I will be using her as Captain. He offered me his daughter when i offered my hand

The infantry is also deadly

Their position on the map is so good, the 4 biggest towns right next to each other

The only bad thing is Caladog thirst for fiefs, otherwise it has been great

One tip, choose your terrain, if you see a bigger army or party, let them chase you, they will be slower. Then choose a bridge or village, maybe shore or mountain. Use your infantry as bait in shield wall or if you get a good map position, funnel their units

Let the arrows fly, even if they kill the infantry, the fians can fight like a hero

My other playthrough I chose Rhagae, she was awesome, gave me everything I conquered, no questions asked

I'm not talking about battles, I'm talking about the factions. Leave them to their own devices, and Battania gets wrecked pretty fast.

As the player, you have a lot of advantages that will sway battles your way.

I apologize then

(But don't trash talk my Battanias! lol 😛)

In my experience this is very random, Sturgia is wrecking the map this time (they have 8 cities) and Battania recovery from one to 7 cities last playthrough. Updates? Or perhaps the faction you support changes the outcome. There is a similar topic in the official forums, same answers
