Launcher: what difference between "play" and "continue"?
I don't understand what is the difference between Play and continue can you make things clear to users, as we are not all 15 years players of this saga, now reduced to a sad broken alpha testing.

Continue attempts to immediately load the last save made and drop you straight into the game. Might not succeed, depending on factors, which just lands you at the main menu.

'Play' takes you to the menu, where you can choose what to do and which file to load.

'Continue' loads the top save file of whatever campaign you were last playing.

Just like they do in every other computer game for the last 30 years.
Ok, thanks to both. So the idea is to "Play it like a story book": you continue the story ... it's a very nice idea by the devs.

I have never seen a continue in the launcher. Sorry. Usually it's from the in game menu not from the launcher which is an outside of the game situation.

I don't understand why they did not set a simple roll over option to explain with a 1 liner, and then have a setting "hide all hints". So that advanced users can just remove (roll over text windows).
So the internet is not filled with these questions like mine. Thanks.
