Realm of thrones?
If anyone is playing the realm of thrones mod, can you tell me why is not running? can't find the answer on modb. Downgraded to 1.2.8, downloaded harmony, MCM and betterexception window, but the game just freezes on the loading screen

Just waiting worked. I switched to version 1.2.8 but it was still just loading. Waited 15min and got into the game.

Initial load for RoT can be up to 30 mins

you don't need to downgrade anything.

realm of thrones works with 1.2.9, aswell as harmony, uiextender, butterlib and MCM.

i run it with the marry anyone and cheats relaoded mod fine, although it still crashes after 1-2 hours of playing, which i can live with.

first time load duration is normal, for me it only took 5 minutes on NVME with a 7900 XTX, depends on the shader cache.

There are absolutely some paid mods, those who complained about the work they chose to do, asked for money and then never returned to update it, soured my modding experience to no end!

I don't know, i waited more than 10 minutes but it was still freezing, however when closing the game via task manager it didn't say that the game wasn't responding, so maybe i should try to wait more
you can also try this, I use it for all mods that load slowly (I lifted it from old realms mod description how to speed up shaders issue):

-Step 1-
Navigate to your program data folder either by…
… Type %programdata% in your search bar(or press win key + r )->Mount and Blade II Bannerlord
OR
… Enable hidden folders and go to C:\ProgramData\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord
In the folder, target folder delete the “Shaders” folder.

-Step 2-
Navigate to your Bannerlord installation folder and go into the Shaders->D3D11 folder by….
… navigating in the explorer to C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord
OR
…. right click Bannerlord in Steam->browse files-> Shaders\D3D11 )
Inside that folder, you should see a file called compressed_shaders_cache.sack, delete that as well.

Game will load faster, but you'll sometimes need to wait a bit in game when relevant shaders are loading first time.

Had this problem and tried lots of different solutions. This fixed it for me. Thanks!
